Remodeling the Medical Clinic
Our first job while we are here is to give the medical clinic a little facelift. When the building was first built a generous donor in Guatemala that owned a carpet manufacturing plant donated wall to wall carpet for the build.
Unfortunately he meant up the walls as well! As you can imagine when they turned this building into the medical clinic, carpeted walls don't make for the most sanitary conditions. The health department agrees and "requested" the carpet be removed. Our job is to tear down all the old carpet and paint all the cement and interior walls.

I heard of carpet in bathrooms & kitchens but never on walls! I KNOW it's going to look GREAT when you're finished. P.S. Sara, could the picture of you be "staged"? If not, WHAT are you drilling? HA!
hey Sara great picture im sure it was staged. oh and mom thats a nice picture would u like us to get that printed out for u? i thought u would be like the Amish and not let anyone take ur picture.
yes. i must confess. the photo was staged, but for the record, there was actually a screw there in the wall where i was holding the drill, and i look extremely happy. haha.
